Ernst & Young Announced Finalists for 14th Annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards
STAMFORD, CT, June 11, 2001—Ernst & Young LLP announced today the finalists for the 14th Annual Southwest Connecticut/New York Hudson Valley Entrepreneur of the Year®. The awards ceremony will be held June 28, 2001 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, Conn.
The program, sponsored locally by Citibank Private Bank, Curran & Connors, and Marsh USA Inc., honors outstanding founders of fast-growing companies whose ingenuity, hard work, and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures.
The finalists for the Southwest Connecticut/New York Hudson Valley EOY awards are:
Southwestern Connecticut/New York Hudson award recipients will be selected by a panel of independent judges, including Christine DiBona, managing director, Marsh USA Inc., Stamford CT; Lawrence E. Dwyer, Jr., president, Westchester County Association Inc., White Plains, NY; Peter Keller, vice president, Citibank Private Bank, Stamford, CT; Jack Meehan, president, Aztec International, LLC, S. Norwalk, CT; Frank Morse, chairman, Connecticut Venture Group, Southport, CT; Elaine Pullen, chairman, Connecticut Technology Council, Hartford, CT; Richard Sandberg, chairman, Lifecodes Corporation, Stamford, CT; and Joseph Small, managing director, NASDAQ, New York, NY. The winners are eligible to compete for the Year 2001 National Entrepreneur of the Year, held each November in Palm Springs, California.
